Celebration of Life | Todd Endo

A Celebration of Life for Todd Endo was held recently at the Arlington Mill Community Center. Todd was a beloved, influential, and highly effective community leader, educator, civil rights activist, family man, soccer coach and much more. Imprisoned as a child during WWII along with his Japanese-American family, he was dedicated to lifting up the oppressed, and was instrumental locally in creating programs for affordable housing, after-school education, tenants' and workers' rights, and immigrant empowerment.

A detailed biography of Dr. Todd Endo is here.

His beloved family organized a well-attended event for him. Speakers and performers included members of the Endo family, former County Board Chair Christian Dorsey, former School Board Chair Dr. Emma Violand-Sanchez, and numerous others who were mentored by or worked with Todd.

May his memory and good works ever be for a blessing.

He and his wife Paula, along with Lloyd Wolf, founded the Columbia Pike Documentary Project.
