A winter's day on the Pike (a deep and dark December)

Seen on a long walk in mid Columbia Pike. Winter is here. Christmas is coming.

New businesses, new buildings, signs of the times, people on the street, clear revealing light.

Note- there seems to be a rash of graffiti spreading on the Pike; much undesired by the folks who live here.

Photography by Lloyd Wolf.

I love seeing my new stomping grounds through your lens. I see how much I miss or, rather, how much we need to "compare views" with one another to really see. This also makes me think of the Columbia Pike books you have contributed to with your photos, except these recent photos are a snapshot (pardon the pun) of life here, taken in a single month. I want to learn my camera I bought and used for, like, three months now that you've convinced me that there's so much to photograph on the Pike.
