Grand Opening - Arlington Mill Residences

These photographs are from the recent grand opening of the Arlington Mill residences, 901 S. Dinwiddie St. Arlington, VA. These affordable-rate apartments were built and will be managed by
APAH, the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing.

There are 122 apartments, including a few studio-style facilities for formerly homeless citizens. Over 3000 people applied to live in the building. The need for affordable housing in the community is very great.

The photographs are of residents, County officials, APAH staff and board, the funding and construction teams, community activists, and of a model room.

Sixteen photographs from the Columbia Pike Documentary Project archive are on permanent display in the lobby and other public areas.
