After Tuesday's Democratic Party primary vote, an election watch party was held at William Jeffreys Tavern on Columbia Pike. Two Pike-based candidates, Virginia House of Delegates representative Alfonso Lopez and Arlington County Board member Takis Karantonis were there along with Democratic party activists. Both Mr. Lopez and Mr. Karantonis won their respective elections by wide margins and will vie for office against other parties' candidates in November 2021.
