The annual Prio Bangla Festival along Columbia Pike celebrates Bangladeshi-American culture. It also includes artistic expressions from other groups who make up of our diverse community.
This year, in addition to highlighting Bangladeshi artists, performers, merchants, culture, and cuisine, there were dance troupes and other representatives from West African, Bolivian, Peruvian, Ethiopian, Mexican, and Appalachian mountain traditions.
Thank you to Pryalal Karmakar of Prio Bangla for his energy in organizing the event, and for his and the whole Bangladeshi community's hospitality.
