International Mother Language Day 2025

This year's International Mother Language Day event, sponsored by the Prio Bangla organization, the Bangladeshi cultural and philanthropic association for the Washington area, was held at Kenmore Middle School. It celebrates and commemorates Bangladeshi independence, and stands for the acceptance and preservation of native languages throughout the world. 

Thanks to Dr. Pryalal Karmakar, director of Prio Bangla, and all the volunteers and performers at thsi moving ceremony.
