International Mother Language Day 2025

This year's International Mother Language Day event, sponsored by the Prio Bangla organization, the Bangladeshi cultural and philanthropic association for the Washington area, was held at Kenmore Middle School. It celebrates and commemorates Bangladeshi independence, and stands for the acceptance and preservation of native languages throughout the world.

A terrific podcast about the work of the Columbia Pike Documentary Project has been created and shared by Bryce Tolpen of Political Devotions.

Full Circle Montessori School | International Night

The Full Circle Montessori School, located in the Shell building at the intersection of South Greenbrier Street and Columbia Pike, held its first Montessori Model UN International Night Fundraiser recently. A wide range of foods, artwork, and student-run projects were enjoyed by parents, supporters, and students of this pre-K through 8th grade private school.
