Hispanic Heritage festival | Tyrol Hill Park

A lively Hispanic Heritage festival was held in Tyrol Hill Park in the Arlington Mill neighborhood.

Numerous Arlington County agencies - Public Health, the Libraries, Police and Fire departments, Transportation, Public Schools, and others were there to provide outreach and support.

Many of our community's Hispanic notables including Delegate Alfonso Lopez, former Board member Tania Talento, community activist Janeth Valenzuela, Sheriff Jose Quiroz, School Superintendent Francisco Duran, and others were in attendance.

Bolivian and Panamanian dance troupes gave spirited performances.
