Columbia Pike Blues Festival 2023

The Columbia Pike Blues Festival, sponsored by the Columbia Pike Partnership (CPP), has been described as "Arlington's best block party." This year there was a record turnout, with numerous local vendors and civic groups participating. Headliner Judith Hill was joined by performers Annika Chambers and Paul DesLauriers, Bobby Thompson, The Gayle Harrod Band,  and Spice Cake Blues. Virginia US Senator Mark Warner also greeted and addressed the crowd.

Graduation celebration for APAH residents

The Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH) recently held a graduation celebration recognizing and honoring high school students who live in their residences. Friends, family, and supporters gathered in the Columbia Hills Apartments community room, just off Columbia Pike. Opening remarks were made by Dulce Carrillo, Supervisor of Public Engagement for Arlington Public Schools (APS)

Thanks to Tomas Kurtz, Venus Williams, Marquan Jackson, Garrett Jackson and the rest of APAH's able staff for their help- and congratulations to the graduates.
