ARLINGTON, VA - Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington is proud to announce its summer exhibitions, opening on May 31, 2023. Art After Hours, an opening celebration, will take place on Friday June 2 from 5pm-8pm.
On the main floor and in the Jenkins Community Gallery, MoCAA presents A World in a Zip Code: Columbia Pike Documentary Project. The exhibition includes photographs, video, and oral history by the Columbia Pike Documentary Project, a team of photographers and storytellers whose work captures the evolving life of Arlington County's historic Columbia Pike corridor. The exhibition will include photography and oral history by Lara Ajami, Paula Endo, Moises Gomez, Aleksandra Lagkueva, Sushmita Mazumdar, Xang Mimi Ho, Dewey Tron, and Lloyd Wolf. The exhibition coincides with the release of The Road Ahead, Columbia Pike Documentary Project's most recent book, which includes photographs and oral history from the past year.
