The Columbia Pike Documentary Project is a multi-disciplinary history of Columbia Pike in Arlington, VA, one of Americas most-ethnically diverse communities. Paula Endo, Lloyd Wolf, Mimi Xang Ho, Duy Tran, Aleksandra Lagkueva, Lara Ajami, and other team members have been using photography and oral history to document life along the Pike. I am absolutely heartbroken to hear that B&E's is closed and slated for tear down.
What's next? Mario's on Wilson Blvd?!?
Makes it harder to go back home, when home keeps changing.
Then main Bob & Edith's is still up - just the newer one (B&E2) is coming down. I liked them both... but the older, more classic one is still staying as is... so far as I am concerned, a very good thing-
