Centro Arlington- opening

Centro opened recently at the corner of S. George Mason Drive and Columbia Pike. It features upscale mixed-use retail businesses anchored by a new Harris Teeter grocery and apartments offering luxury residential living.

It is on the site formerly occupied by Food Star and Hi Cue Billiards.

Latino American Festival

We recently documented the Latino American festival at the Arlington Mill Community Center along Columbia Pike.

Many community groups, vendors, performers, and activities were on display.
Of particular note were three dance troupes: AWAL, Convites de Guatemala, and Danza Tecuanis de Manassas.
