Botanica Boricua | Eyes on the Pike


Botanica Boricua, a colorful and unusual emporium purveying traditional and specialized potions, preparations, and an eclectic range of religious and mystical supplies, is located at 2634 Columbia Pike, Arlington, VA.

Dubessa Family | Lideta Gebeya Ethiopian store


The Lideta Gebeya Ethiopian store at 2630 Columbia Pike, Arlington, VA, is run by the Dubessa family.

Pictured, left to right in the family group, are: Yesak, Fetene, Nico, Sina, and Wude Dubessa.

The store carries Ethiopian foods including injera made by hand onsite, plus Ethiopian music and crafts.

Swank Custom Tailoring is at 2628 Columbia Pike in Arlington, VA.

BoxCartel in concert

Boxcartel, a band based in the Alcova Heights neighborhood along Columbia Pike, played at the Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse as part of an event sponsored by StreetCar.Now to rally support in the community for the proposed light rail system along the Pike.
